Dear, Microsoft Corporation Incorporated

I am trying to find some definitive information on the Microsoft
Corporation's XP Professional chat utility called WinChat. I am trying to
also find out if it there are any web based chat providers to login to for
commentary.

Very Respectfully

Thank the two of you whom have tred to answer my questions concerning winchat
however; I wish to understand how to configure the chat client to cable modem
technologies if I could or if it is availble for interoperability in relation
to its design.

Dear Mr. Garrett Hord,

No one here works for or represents Microsoft.

Repeating the second part of my original answer:

I believe that in doing the searches - you will learn a way to ask whatebver
it is you are trying to ask in a manner that makes more sense as to what it
is you are trying to accomplish and - more than likely - if the answer
exists - locate it.

I encourage you, if you do find your answer, to come back here and let
everyone in on it.

The built-in WinChat (per the article you have been pointed to) clearly
states the following:

"You can use Windows Chat on your computer to communicate with someone on
another computer. Both computers must be connected to the same network (for
example, a local area network [LAN] or the Internet). Also, each computer
must be running a similar protocol, such as TCP/IP."

Perhaps this will get you started:
