In the case of WinAmp you are better of getting them directly from the
original domain which is at http:///www.winamp.com/ address. Just click
on the "Classic" to get the better 2.xx series. You can get all needed
skins/plugins etc from the same place. Use mirrors if speeds are slow,
information about them is available there.
