win98/XP Home network probs

I have my Win98 desktop connected to my Dlink router and
my XP laptop with a wireless card. The laptop can see and
access the shared folders and printers on the desktop but
not the other way around. I have TCP/IP on both machines.
Any ideas?

The most likely problem is that a firewall on the laptop is blocking
access. Permanently disable XP's built-in Internet Connection
Firewall -- it's for use only on a direct modem connection to the
Internet. Disable and un-install all other firewalls while
troubleshooting. Details here:
