Ok so I still have a Win98 machine. Go ahead and laugh. I need a new
video card for it, and wanted to get the ATI 9600 pro, but the damn box
says it's "designed" for ME, 2000, and XP. Anyone know of issues with
the 9600pro and Win98?

As long as you have x4 motherboard it should be ok in Win98, but you have to
use the ME drivers.

Wow Win 98....mmm...do they still make drivers for that OS. I thought
microsoft stopped with supporting it. Anyhow, as the other already
said, try Win ME drivers, if that fails...well..ya know what it's time
for....to leave the Win9x time and move into the world of
WinXP/Win2k/...whatever....something better as Win9x

ATI provide drivers that work fine on Win98SE. I have XP and Win98SE
and am using the latest drivers on both with no issues.
