I thought that when we upgraded to 2003 AD from NT based network that all
our clients would stop using the old system policies, and I see that NT and
2000 clients truly are not using the old system policies. BUT now I find
that win 95 and 98 clients, even after adding the DS client, still use the
old 98 and 95 system policies. I tested that out today with mulitple users
both having full open policy and locked down policy via the old policies.
That's contrary to what I was told by folks herein, I think, that ALL
machines will be administered by the AD, including Group Policy. Am I
wrong????
This isn't a problem if it is true, that they will stay on the old policies,
but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't assuming something that might be a
fluke or only temporary.
