Good day,
My Acer Veriton L670G came with Win7 32bits. It has 4 gig of ram.
I like Win7 and like even more Windows XP this is why I thought about
installing WinXP to replace Win7.
Would I run into specific problems doing so and would I have the machine
perform better ? I have the WinXP drivers for the machine and a licence
for Win XP also.
Thanks for your advice

I recommend staying with Win7 and perhaps just tweaking it for best
performance. If you insist on install XP it's as simple as booting from
your XP cd, formatting the drive and following the prompts you get.

Once XP is installed you'd need to install any needed drivers.

But as I said originally you really should just keep the Win7 that's
there. As new hardware and software is released, the chance of XP
support will be unlikely.

If you really want/need to have access to certain programs in WinXP, you
can always install VirtualBox from Oracle and run it as a virtual
machine. I do this on my Linux box for times when I need to run
something on WinXP, and it works great. It's also free to use.
