Win32 Ulysses Z that won't leave

I have been working with someone to try to eliminate a popup virus warning
box that appears whenever I right click a file that says it found multiple
Win32 UlyssesZ viruses. We have done everything including multiple system
cleaning programs, running them in safe and normal modes, and running our
anti-virus software in safe mode. Still no luck. Does anyone have any
suggestions on how to rid the computer of this pesky virus? There isn't even
any info on Computer Assoc.'s web site, even though that's who makes our
anti-virus software and they find it only through right clicking/popup boxes,
but offer no help or even recognize it as a virus on their site. I am
stumped. The man who was helping me was an angel, but we both haven't come
up with any solutions to fix this. I would be grateful for any ideas anyone
has out there.
Thanks.

Hi Lori:

We have tried McAfee's Command Line Scanner which found some malware but not what CA
indicated. We ran TrendMicro Sysclean with nothing found.

Please try several, if not all, of the below online scanners. If the below does not find
anything there is the possibility this is a False Positive declaration made by Computer
Associates. Otherwise would have to contact Computer Associates to and ask them why the
their software is indicating an infection.

The only information at CAI is on..

However that is two years old and TrendMicro and McAfee should have found it (albeit defined
by another name)

If it is a false positive, then still how would I get the popup box to stop
doing that every time I right click on a file? That is what is driving me
crazy...

Only Computer Associates can answer that. First you have to show that NOTHING else is
detecting this. Then you can contact CA and ask them what's up.

Dave,
After using almost every link you sent last night and maybe coming up with
one or two viruses, I decided to go to THE SOURCE, Computer Associates, and
ask them why they offer no help on something their product findsand keeps
telling me that I have. If I pay to have their service yearly, they should
be the ones to tell me why I can't eliminate this problem with what their
software is telling me I have every time I right click. Plus, to make
matters worse, when I sign in now, they call me by a new first name, Carol.
They are not getting on my good side...I will keep you posted when I hear
back from them. Thanks for hanging in there with me.
