Win32.Sndc.A worm ...

I do not know of any spyware removal tool that uses anything close to the
naming convention that AV software uses. Anti Virus software companies also
do not have a standard naming convention. Norton and Trend are two good
examples. The AV companies are starting to add a lot of spyware stuff to
their definition files, but again use their own names for it. With Trend
they will start the name with ADW_ or SPY_ followed by a name that does not
relate to the name the spyware removal companies use. That said, spyware
and viruses are not the same and many viruses will never get detected by
spyware removal software. I was not able to find anything on the
win32.sndc.a worm but what you should be doing with that is going to the
vendor website of your anti virus company and look it up in their support
area and follow the removal instructions they should have there.

In my dream world, I see all the security/AV/software companies agreeing on
standard names. I see a single EFFECTIVE product that does does it all.

After posting this I realized that I only searched a few AV sites and never
googled it. So, I post this additional information. Yes, this particular
one is spyware and it is related to Kazaa. You can try booting to safe mode
and running MSAS or visit one of these two links for their removal
instructions.

Plenty of other google hits if those do not suit you.
