Win32:Qdownl [Tri] virus?

I have a PC running Windows ME that has this Win32:Qdownl [Tri] virus, The
infected file is C:\windows\system\edow.exe. My anti-virus cannot delete,
rename, or move this file. A search for this file finds nothing. The System
folder does not appear to contain this file. "Show all files" button is
checked. Does anyone have any idea how I can get rid of this virus. Help
would be appreaciated. Thankyou!

Some scanners arnt to be trusted. They are just scams to get you to buy the
full version.
