win32 error message

Need Help

I have a problem when ever I try to open things like add
hardware or really anything in the control panel i get a
message that says "error rundll.exe is not a valid win32
application" what is wrong and how do i fix it?
 
Do you have antivirus installed, and are the definitions current? If both
these are true, have you done a scan of your machine with the program set to
scan all files?

This message may well be the result of a virus infection. This isn't the
only possibility, but it would be a good one to rule out early.
