win2k virus problem

Hi
I am facing a problem with my win2k server. Yesterday, it
was not running the exe from start->programs menu.Today
the exes are not working.

When I click on any exe it says
"Unable to run this command"

Is it a virus or worm

What can be the best solution.

Please reply me as early as possible at my email. It is
very urgent.

Check Event Viewer for any messages that may help. Sure you may have a virus. Anytime
unusual activity is detected you should run a virus scan on a computer with the
latest virus definitions. If you find the virus go to
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/ and search for it by name for instructions. See

Sounds like a possible virus. http://housecall.antivirus.com should let you
scan the computer to determine which virus and then once you have an exact
virus name, search the virus encyclopedia at www.trendmicro.com for that
virus name to see how to change the registry settings back.
