Hi,
I am running Windows 2000 Server SP3. I started trying
to implement some security. I added a couple users and a
couple groups, and added users to the groups I wanted to
put them in. I didn't mess around much with any
policies, but I did add and later remove a user from the
policy for "Allow to act as part of the operating
system". I did this because a piece of application
software that I use requires this in order to work
correctly. Anyway, now I can't shutdown the PC from the
start menu. My only option is to log off the current
user, which puts me back at the Ctrl-Alt-Del prompt.
This happens no matter who I am logged in as,
Administrators included. Can anyone suggest a way I
might be able to solve this problem?
Thanks,
Paul
