Win2k SP4 slows internet down considerably

I've tried patching up to SP4 for win2k but each time my
cable internet connection becomes so slow as to be
virtually unusable. I just tried it again wit the same
result. What is causing this slowdown?

Try downloading the SP4 Express install if you havent already done so.
