Hi All,

I am running W2K Pro Service Pack 4 on my Dell CS Latitude
laptop. This PC only has USB 1.1 ports, to which I have
attached a USB hub etc. Since installing SP4 which updates
the usb drivers from 1.1 to 2.0, my hubs are no longer
recognized and I get an error 10 message from the hardware
wizard. My feeling is that I need to restore the usb 1.1
drivers. If so, how do I do this? At this point it is not
possible for me to upgrade my USB connection from 1.1 to
2.0

Please help, and thanks.

I just had a similar problem with my sandisk usb drive.
It kept giving me errors and I would have to unplug it and
plug it back in.
Downloading the original w2k drivers from sandisk solved
the problem.

I'd imagine you should be able to find the older drivers
from Dells website.

I have Sandisk CruzerMini 256 usb drive, and it will not
install. I was informed by Tech Support at Sandisk that
there are no drivers for it; it relies entirely
on "usbsotr.inf" and "usbstor.sys" in the Win2000SP4
Operating System. May I ask where you got drivers for the
Sandisk? Please email me at (e-mail address removed), if you'd
be so kind.

Thanks! Robin
