win2k professional with domain

i've a network with win2k server with 80 clients, all the
clients are win2k prof. i've a problem with 1 particular
client it doesn't connect with the domain, it joins only
as a workgroup. even i checked all neccy config., cabling
and nic card. what do i do to rectify the problem. when
ever i try to connect it with the domain it says "network
path not found". i can able to ping the server & with all
the clients. what do i do to rectify the problem?
 
What errors do you get? If you're using AD, do all clients/servers point
only at the internal AD-integrated DNS server in their IP configs, with
forwarders to your ISP's DNS server set in your AD-integrated DNS server?
When you ping a DC by name, does it reply with the fully qualified domain
name, or just the NetBIOS name?
