Win2K Pro with SP4 cannot see 2 processors

I have a dual Athlon MP system for home use. Upon upgrade
from Windows 2000 Pro SP3 to SP4, one of the fixes (unsure
of which specific one) causes windows to see only one
processor instead of two.

Is there a way to force windows 2000 Pro to see both
processors?

You'll have to reinstall the proper HAL driver for dual
CPU system. Device manager>Computer>Advanced Configuration
and Power Interface (ACPI) Pc (or simular) update the
driver in there.
