- Actual IP addresses
- Firewall details (ZoneAlarm, bundled with some virus scanner)
- What exactly you mean with "cannot see"? Can you ping?
- Configuration: Hub? Router? Cross-over cable? Internet connection
Sharing?

Both are connected to each other using router SMC 7004ABR.
Same subnet mask/workgroup
PC (1) cannot ping PC (2), but PC (2) can ping PC (1).
From PC (1), both computer appears at the same workgroup,
Attempt to browse PC (2) give a "network path was not found" error.
From PC (2), only PC (2) appears at the workgroup,
No firewall software are running. both are log in with admin-rights!
However, browsing web doesnt pose any problems
Pegasus (MVP) said:You did not quote the actual IP addresses, but seeing your
response on your ping tests it seems almost certain that
you have a firewall issue. The firewall could be in your router,
it could be bundled with your virus scanning software, or it
could be part of your VPN setup.
