Mr. Newt

Hi all,
Can you set up win2k pro to be a vpn server? If so, any instructions?
Thanks.
Robert

Yes you can, however it will allow only 1 connection of each type
simultaneously ( 1 L2TP, 1 PPTP, etc. )

You do this by allowing Incoming connections from the Network Connections
folder and Adding an Advanced Connection

Dusty,
Thanks for your answer. One connection, for the time being, is enough. The
problem I seem to have is that no device shows up (wanminiport) after
setting up an incoming connection. Any guesses? Any papers specifically
for vpn setup in 2kpro?
Thanks.
Robert

Thanks guys. Sorry to have bothered you. Come to find out, it was my
router/firewall the whole time. I was skimming through the setup so fast
('cause it couldn't possibly be that) that I missed the obvious port
forwarding to the wrong ip address scenario. I feel so dumb. Any ways,
thanks.
