Anyone using Ghost 7.5 to deploy W2k pro and not using neither sysprep nor
ghost walker? Please share the steps on how you ghost multiple pcs
Thanks

You must use sysprep follow the symantec and Microsoft articles on how to
deploy windows 2000. If you don;t use sysprep, every machine will have the
same SID and password for the local Administrator account.

When you clone a computer, the cloned computer has the same
SID and comptuer name as your "base model". You will need
to change the SID and computer name somehow or bad things
will happen.

There is a Symantec dos based tool that performs this task,
but I thought it was more trouble than it was worth.

Using Ghost and Sysprep avoids headaches in the long run
IMHO.
