Mapped drives just stop working!

Scenario:

1. Boot the machine running Win2K Pro SP4, with the latest manufacturers
drivers for the NIC.
2. Login to the network with domain model. Mapped drives are picked up OK
3. After an indeterminate amount of time, the mapped drives stop working.
4. You can ping the server OK.

Config:

- IP transport only.
- Nothing else exotic or special. Just a simple Microsoft network with a
dozen or so mixed (95,98,NT,2K,XP) clients.

Other comments:

1. Changed the autodisconnect value in the registry. No matter what value I
use, followed by reboot, makes no difference.
2. Happens on a number of LANs that I support.
3. Problem only manifests itself on Win2K Pro.

Grateful for comments/suggestions.

TIA

Maurice

How many nics in the server?
Does the ipconfig/all from the clients show that all is pointing to the
server-IP?
If using W9x, ME or NT4, got WINS installed on the server?

Marina
