Win2k pro accounts crash explorer.exe

I posted before about this problem, but suggested
solutions didn't work (thanks to those who tried).

Here is my problem. I have win2k pro, sp4, and I just
applied all the security updates and patches available
through windows update. Prior to doing this my machine
worked fine. But now, all my non admin accounts cause the
following error when trying to use explorer or IE:

C:\WINNT\explorer.EXE This Application Has Requested the
Runtime to Terminate it in an Unusual Way.

I tried deleting the affected accounts and recreating
them, but any account I create now causes the error as
well. The only way I can run anything is as Admin.

Any more suggestions would be very greatly appreciated!

Not sure what was tried before.
Have you tried making the other accounts power users?
 
Hi Jason,

Not sure what is going on but you may want to try disabling third-party tool bands
and if that does not help try repairing Interenet Explorer. For more information see
