If I am installing Windows 2000 from a CD labeled "OEM", that means I can install it on
a freshly formatted hard drive with nothing on it, right?

If that's the case, and if I want NTFS, should I format the new HD as NTFS before
install, or format as FAT32 and convert to NTFS from Win2K?

Thanks!!!

One should be able to boot the computer directly from the
Windows 2000 cdrom. In the setup process, the user will be
asked how to prepare the system partition. At this point,
size the partition and select the file system. Setup will
take care of the rest.
