Win2K - Logon to "Corporate" not available

I'm running a 2K machine at work. I had to walk a field tech through changing his laptop's IP so he could log into a router.
I was going through the motions on my PC as I explained it, and I didn't mean to change anything - but I must have.

When I first logon to my machine, I (obviously) need to enter my username and password, but below that is a tab that asks Log on to: and my choices are Corporate or "NetID" This Computer.

Well, what ever I inadvertently changed last night, has removed that option from my logon screen.

The Windows2K will not allow me to log on! I am screwed! All my work is in there! My Lotus ID is on that machine!

While I think I have "Admin Rights" on my machine, I am not a System Administrator. Just an FYI.

I just did the same thing. sorry i'm not able to help
you but if you are able to fix it, could you please email
me at (e-mail address removed) and tell me what to do.

Thank you

If you have admin rights on your PC then you can
simply log on locally under the account with admin
rights, and access your files.

If you're brave, and know how to use DOS commands,
and don't mind using short file names, then you can
boot your machine with a Win98 boot disk from
www.bootdisk.com. You must then run ntfsdos.exe
from www.sysinternals.com so that you can copy your
Lotus files to floppy disk and ultimately to a different PC.

The best option is to talk to your network administrator
and ask him for a local account name / password.
