Hi,

might be a stupid question..

But i have a serverapplication which somtimes produces AV errors on a 2K -
and i would like to make some statistics on how often it happens, do Win2K
store a complete logfile on errors / exceptions / access violation ?

If not by default, is it possible to setup so i can track each
error/breakdown in the future ?

hope you can help, thanks alot.

Application log entries are written by the application itself, so it´s up to
the application programmer to write entries or not .Look at the application
log (Computer management/Event Viewer/Applicattion) and search for possible
entries created by your target application, Maybe you´re lucky. You may also
search the documentation of your app for any other kind of log created
somewhere else, many applications use simple text files to write operations
o error logs.
Hope this helps,
Robert
