Doug

I have a question about doing a clean install of Win2k Pro
on a laptop that I will be giving a new hard drive:
before I install the OS, do I need to remove the added RAM
I've installed in the laptop; or do I need to remove the
added RAM, then install the OS, then reinstall the added
RAM?

Thanks.

Hi Doug,

I would not expect to have any issues adding the ram before performing the
installation of Windows 2000.
The only catch would be that if the ram by some chance is bad and or is not
matched properly.
