My Win2K Pro no longer brings up the Properties sheet for
folders when I right-click a folder. Nothing happens, it
just sits there. Anyone know of why this would occur? It
has been happening for quite some time, so unfortunately I
can't trace it to a specific software install or anything
like that. Is there a Registry entry I can restore, or is
there something else I can do to restore the right-click
Properties on folders?
Thanks,
Tray

Try 2 things:

- Restart in Safe mode.

- Turn off and disable the IIS web server if you have it running.

Something you installed might have added a property page (tab panel)
that refuses to load anymore so you can't get any of the property pages
to come up. I had this happened with the web server; it was causing a
screw up on the Web Sharing property page and I couldn't look at folder
properties. Killing (and restarting the machine) got it working. I had
to uninstall and reinstall IIS. Norton Utilities also adds a Norton
property page (at the drive level) but I don't know of a way to remove
its extension except by uninstalling it.
