Pranzy,

You have supplied just a little bit of information so we
might need some more to help you better.

I would take a look at the following:

Make sure that the Trusts are still in tact. Remember,
each domain in the domain tree, by default, trusts all
other domains in that same domain tree. I assume that you
are talking about two domains in the same domain tree???
Trusts simply make it possible for users in one domain to
have access to other objects in another domain. Without
the trusts in place there ain't gonna be no sharing
possible!

Now, the second thing to look at would be to take a look
at the permissions? Are the shared resources properly
shared? Are the permissions assigned to the proper group
object(s)? Are the proper user account objects members of
the proper group objects?

I recently installed a bunch of the Security Updates on
two domain controllers and a File Server. The permissions
on the File Server ( to the shared resources ) were a
little out of whack afterwards - and that is the weird
thing. It was onle a very select few shared folders whose
permissions were changed. I asked my boss if he had
changed anything and he said that he had not. I asked the
two people here on site you could have and they both said
that had not! Applying the Critical Updates was the only
thing that had changed! Wierd! Have never experienced
that before - and I am not so sure that there is any
correlation. Anyway, something to think about.

HTH,

Cary
