I'm setting up a donated PC for my mother-in-law who is the administrator of
a private day school. It was loaded with Win2K Pro from the factory (I have
the product key) but upgraded to WinXP. Unfortunately, the donators did not
(and do not have) the original install discs or anything. I'm not going to
use my own install CDs for XP, and if I had a copy of win2K, I could use the
product key assigned to the box. Is there any place (or user) that can
sell/can donate a copy of Win2K? E-bay is running them for $150+, and
honestly, the PC isn't worth that cost; however it is a definite upgrade from
the Win98 AMD K62 that she is using now.

If you have the product key then you can legally use a copy
of a Windows 2000 CD. Ask your friends or perhaps your
friendly computer dealer.
