I read through a lot of posts but no one seemed to have
this problem posted.
Windows2000 pro is connnected to Windows xp-home on a
simple p2p net. Win2k can ping xp-home (ping 192.168.1.11)
successfully but the xp-home system does not show up under
win2k's network places. NET VIEW gives 6118 error (list of
servers not available).
However, the xp-home system does see the win2k system
under its network places.
Any ideas how to get the xp-home system to show up on the
win2k's network neighborhood so it can share printers,
etc???
Thanks,
Rick
