HI all,

Just to check if anyone has a solution to my problem. I
had upgraded my win2k pro from sp3 to sp4 recently. I have
a corporate wireless network running Cisco PEAP
authentication. When running sp3, we will need to install
a patch to run PEAP. Upon installing sp4, we will need to
reinstall the Cisco ACU or the network properties page
will hang.

After installing the ACU again, the problem is solved but
another one crops up. We are using laptops and once we
stop the wireless card services to remove the card when
the win2k is still running, the whole win2k blue screen
pops out and the whole maching reboots.

Please if there are anybody who are able to solve this
problem, please do reply to me ASAP. Thanks.

Regards,
Adrian.

To answer your questions as well as queries.

As mentioned earlier, I am running SP3 with ACU 6.0
installed and PEAP is working fine. I install SP4 later
without removing my ACU 6.0. I suppose the SP4 will
override the ACU settings for PEAP. But I am not able to
get the authentication screen. After that, I downloaded
ACU 6.1 hoping that it will resolve my problem. After
installing, it did resolve it and the normal
authentication screen appears but however the machine
starts to have intermittent problems which were not
encountered using SP3.

Hope you understand what I am trying to convey and
awaiting your reply. Thanks.
