Hi!

I have Windows 2000 AD mixed mode setup, with mixed workstations of Win98
with Dir Services, WinNt Wks SP6 with Dir Services, Win2K Prof SP4, and
WinXP Prof SP1 & SP2. Will there be no problem if I will change from mixed
mode to native mode?

Hi,

No problem, since none of your WinNT clients are BDC's. I assume when you
say they have Dir Services you mean that DSClient is installed. The
important point is that all of your Domain Controllers are at least W2k
Server. My Native mode W2k network has Win95, Win98, and WinNT clients.

How about member server? currently I still use WinNT Server for one of my
application, and I dont have any WinNT DC. Will there be no problem if I

No problem. You can still have member servers running NT in native mode. I
verified by checking my Microsoft course material on "Implementing and
Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Directory Services", where they make
this very clear.
