Win2003 Server terminal failure after Windows Update

Hi

I'm testing the new Windows 2003 server and just ran Windows Update on the
box (a standard Intel Celeron 2.2 GHz Machine).

After running Win Update, the machine would blue screen for a fraction of
a second immediately upon boot... then reboot, creating an endless loop of
Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)

Charming

Has any one else seen this?
What to do?
I'm reinstalling now, but does this eliminate Windows Update
Functionality?

at what point exactly does it blue screen, is it after the bar on the
bottom is gone, at the splash screen, or where,

try going to safe mode and uninstall the updates from the add/remove.
o wait... you're reinstalling already.
