Hi,

Running OSX10.3.5 on new Win2k3 network/AD.

Before I could easliy mount an SMB share and copy back and forth to the server.
Now I can still connect and read the shares and network directory but
cannot write to anything.
I have checked the permissions on the server and everything is correct.
My Mac is bound to the AD and the machine name added etc...
I can ping all the domain names and browse the directory using LDAP
I have even gt Entourage and Exch 2003 working properly

This is the last piece in the puzzle - any help would be greatly appreciate.!

Dave...

Hi,

Go to computer management --> expand the shared folder-->click on shares, in
the right hand side double clik the mac share and clear the "This volume is
read only" and try re connecting the volume and now you are able to write
the folder/file.

You legend ... I thought it may be something simple like this.
Everything is now working properly - now if I could just sync my
Exchange notes with Entourage....
