Hi,
Did a clean install last week to Win2000 (from Win98) and having 2 problems:
1) we have 2 printers, and when I try to print out pages from the web, they either a) print out the right way plus 20+ blank pages (printer 1), or b) print out many pages with just a portion of the web page on them. I print a lot of stuff off the web, so I'm going through a lot of paper!
2) my computer monitor display suddenly went wacky on me today. It's currently on a screen size of 1152 x 864 and 32 bit color. Unfortunately, the icons, etc., are way too small for my 40 year old eyes! The only display that seems to be close to what I want is the lowest pixel (640 x 480), but for that the icons and type are too large, plus I do graphic design, so it doesn't display w/enough pixels. I tried other settings above and below 1152 x 864, but they either a) don't fill up the screen - a portion of the screen is black, or b) also are too small for me to view comfortably. The monitor is a 17 inch Dell, and I did try upgrading the drivers. Please don't tell me I need glasses - other than this, my eyesight is fine!
Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks!
