WIN2000, satellites and telnet problems

hi for some reason the windows 2000 Pro which is running software from a
vendor using a telnet connection keeps erroring that the telnet session is
"busy handeling other requests".

The vendor reports no other users have reported this error.

We use a satellite internet conneciton of which we are the only one of their
customers that use this.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I might try?
 
it works at first and then the busy error occurs.

Please tell me how to check 23 Socket.....
 
you can try this: Telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 23 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the
Server 2k IP. Ypu can try this in the user.
 
That did work. I was able to telnet in using a command prompt..........do
you have anymore suggestions of what might be wrong?
