I have Win2000 Professionnal, SP4 is installed

I have launched the installation program from CD and
selected reinstall to keep the installed configuration to
solve some problem.

During the peripherals detection, the PC freeze, reboot,
and resume the installation program and freeze again.

This is an endless loop.

How can I stop this loop, and reboot the PC normaly.

Where is the signal that instruct Win to install. Is it in
MSConfig?

Safe Mode and unchecking the box that tells the system to automaically
reboot on a blue screen. Right click "My Computer" >advanced [tab] >Startup
And Recovery... >uncheck "Automatically reboot.
