I have a Win200 PRO SP4 workstation which has a Seagate Travan 8GB IDE Tape
Drive. I needed a larger capacity tape drive so I purchased a Centrance 40GB
Travan IDE drive to replace it. The problem is that Win2000 will NOT pick
up the drive. It shows up just fine in the computer BIOS but Windows will
not detect it. I then put the original 8GB drive back in the computer and
Win2000 will NOT see this drive either (computer BIOS sees it just fine).
Any ideas why Win2000 plug-n-play is not detecting it?
