Good Morning Everyone,

I had a NT server that was hit with the blaster virus. We got it repaired
and cleaned, E-Advil Cold and Sinus works great! Anyway, we have Win2000
professional on the workstations, but the server is Running WinNT4.0 SP3(I
think). The other workstations are connected to the server, but I have a
laptop(Win2K) that cannot connect to the server at all. It cannot find the
server, nor can it connect to the domain. I can't ping it or anything. Now
this PC is connected to the network, because it is able to access the
internet through the router & cable modem. I look on the server event viewer
and it doesn't tell me anything about this laptop trying to connect. The
server doesn't see this laptop and the laptop can't see the server. I've
tried deleting the computer from the domain and making a new user/new
account, even changing the IP address on the PC but I still can't find the
server or connect to it. Any ideas? Thanks.

Footnote: The other workstations that connect to the server, do have some
trust relationship issues at times but it still connects and finds the
server fine. They can also ping the server and everything else. But I do see
some error messages in the event viewer sometimes about those pcs not
finding the SID for the trust relationship. But they still work ok. (I know
I'll have to address that)
But this laptop can't see/talk to this server in anyway shape or form right
now.

Anthony....
