win zip in my emails?

Every time I try to open a web address in a received email, I get a box that
says the file has to be unzipped through win zip and it also mentions a VPN.
This was not happening when I started with Outlook 2000. It just started one
day. Is there a way to correct this? Is it a virus?

Winzip will prompt you that a file has be unzipped if it is an actual zipped
file not for web address. As for VPN that is a Virtual Private Network used
to connect to a company network from the outside. What does it say about
VPN.

Also, do you know the source of the email and the web address you are trying
to open. If not do not open it.
