How is this version? New computer with version 8 and it runs 'shakey'. I had
the same version on an old computer and it was solid. So I don't know if I
shoud look at the new computer or the version 9 upgrade as the new computer
is geared towards speed and games. Like it handles Falcon 4.0 as if it was
nothing and I have all the eye candy maxed out. But I'm lacking the comfort
level of 'love my computer'.

Thanks,
Bob

Guess he's talking about DirectX 8 and 9.It's pretty much up to the game
which version to use. But,older video cards don't support the latest
versions. If your video card is less than 2 years old and supports DX9 then
install it.
