Win XP Update Files

I have just upgraded to XP Pro and then I did a Windows update and after
everything was installed ( 43 items ) I find that my directory C:\Windows
contains quite a lot of extra folders with the naming convention of :
$NtUninstallKB<number>$

From what I have seen , they seem to be uninstall files for the latest XP
updates , can these directories be removed if there is no problems with the
latest update ?

Thanks.

Copy them to a different folder, delete them and see if it makes a difference
the next time you boot up.

It is unlikely to make any more difference that removing an entry under
Add/Remove Programs, but if it does, replace them.

Thanks , I think I will do that to and if there is no problems I will remove
them later on.
