Hi,

DSL (PPPoE) and Win XP Pro SP1 wont upload greater than 8kb/s? Its not isp
and with Win 98 its not a problem either, but with XP.

What was the explanation offered by your ISP and/or DSL provider? They are
your best choice for tech support. Make sure you have good cables and tight
connections.

Like I said, its Win XP problem because withWin 98 upload is as it should
be.
Line is tested by isp (they came to visit me) and even their laptop win xp
uploaded normally.

Has the DSL connection ever work at a reasonable speed ? Delete the
connection and reinstall . Go to Dsl Reports and do speed and tweak test.
Could be ithernet card or modem. Jym

So this is a Dual-Boot machine so the Windows 98 and Windows XP share the
exact same hardware/connection?

Assuming "yes" would lead me to asking if you have uninstalled/reinstalled
TCP/IP?
Have you downloaded the latest driver for your network card in Windows XP?
Have you ran any of the MTU products out there for windows? (I am NOT
recommending them, just asking if you have and maybe that screwed up the
configuration.. you know applications that claim to "speed up your
internet"..)
Checked your machine for spy/ad/malware? Antivirus stuff too?
