I'm running WIN XP on computer and WIN 98SE on my kids, I
have a router (2Wire) so that they can access the
internet. I was wondering if I can set my computer up
for acting as a server (w/o buying more software) so that
they can access peripherals on my computer(printer) and I
can access their hardrive (monitoring). I would also like
to access their computer if need arises (such as placing
a scanner on their computer because it's cheaper). How
can I do this, if I can.

When I got to part 5 where it talks about adding network
components, espsically the "Client for MS Networks" when
you click on "add" it prompts me for a driver. Is this
driver included in my XP disk

1. Open XP's "Help and Support Center".
2. In the Search box type: "Client for MS Networks" , and hit enter.
3. Click on "Configure Client for Microsoft Networks".

Appreciate the help, unfortunately I didn't see the light
at the end of the tunnel. At step 5 I selected
the "Enable RPC..." and then clicked ok. Nothing
happened after that. Except my fruatration level went up
one notch. lol

Can ya send a few more ideas?
