I have a Dell Dimension 4600C desktop with Win XP Pro and a 120 GB hard drive that is partitioned C through K. I've been trying to do a repair but keep getting stuck at the install to the 120 GB Partition1 or create a new partitio
option. I just got off the phone with Dell and fellow said that they don't support partitions but that he thought the partitions would be lost if I continued with either option

I'd sure appreciate any suggestions

Thanks

John

Are you trying to do a Repair Install? If so then follow the
instructions at http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

You should not be asked any questions about the partition structure of
the drive except perhaps to confirm which partition the install is to
be made in.

Good luck
