When I performed my initial Windows XP install, I was asked for my name and
a password. I did not supply a password because I didn't want to have to log
on when my PC starts. So, my account is an administrator account with no
password. When I try to log on my desktop PC from my laptop, I can remote
connect with the Administrator logon and the password I supplied for it, but I
can't log on to my account. Is this because there is no password?

As a security measure, Microsoft designed the RDC not to work without having
a Password Enabled Account defined on the hosting machine (an account with a
non blank password). The password is an inherent part of the RDC setup,
without it, nothing will not work.

Thanks for the info. I added a password to my account and set Tweakui to
auto log me on at my desktop. If I log off, I can log into my desktop PC via
my laptop with no problems...
