WIN XP problems with Citrix client

I am having trouble running Citrix applications with my WIN XP machine. I can get through login to my site and get to my applications page, but when I launch any application It bombs. When running a v6.2 client, I receive the standard XP error: Citrix client engine has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry...do you want to send a report... When I install and run a v7.0 version, the error is Microsoft Outlook error. Cannot connect to the Citrix Metaframe server, proxy connection failed: Internal error during proxy evaluation. I have verified that my settings are correct (not to use a proxy or autodetect). Can anybody help??
