Hi All
Wow great newsgroup yeah .
Recently I had update my OS from Home Editions to Win XP Pro SP 2 using
upgrade option.
Here are some of my problems.
1)The icon look different now such as my MS Office 2007 which I do believed
I can simple fix it by restoring the software.
2) The Windows Firewall /ICS is unable to run, when I click on it and manual
start the services, it does not allow it.
3) I had cfhange my ownership to give myself the full right as admin,by
access owner under permission and now my profile setting such as printer and
etc seemed missing no doubt all the programs and desktop setting still remain.
Please doa dvise.

Hello Thomas,

Regarding point 2, do you have Norton software installed? If so, that
may/will be the cause. It was for me.
