Hello,

How can I find out, where does it show, if my XP PRO is a 32 or a 64 BIT ?
The reason I ask, is that I need to update my NVIDIA drivers and I need to
select if my XP is a 32 bit or 64.

Thanks in advance

Unless you are running 64bit hardware, and you would know if you were, then
XP is 32bit..

Hi Roger,

Right-click on My Computer, and choose Properties, and you'll see what your
OS is.

On the regular 32-bit version it says:

"Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 2"

What does yours say? HTH.

unless you bought a new machine recently it is probably 32 bit

Do you have a 32 or 64 bit in XP? Exe or VBS
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Line 258 - Right hand side.

Manual:

Go to Start/Run/CMD and type in: cd c:\ <enter>, systeminfo. System Type
will probably read: X86

Or go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Environment. In the right pane: Processor_Architecture should
read: x86 for 32 bit.

XP Pro comes in 32 bit and 64 bit, but unless you can afford an Itanium
processor in your system, you have the 32 bit version.
