My boss bought a portable this last week with Win XP Pro
on it. When we first jacked it into the Win 98 network at
work everything worked fine. It found all of the network
shares. I set it up to use his wireless connection at his
house and since then it has not found the network shares
at work.
Work is a Win 98 peer-to-peer network with no wireless
capabilities.
Home is a Win XP Home desktop with a wireless access point.
A secondary problem is that the portable does not have a
floppy drive and the Network Setup Wizard can't seem to
find the CD burner.
Any suggestions?
