How can I restore my Admin previlages.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

First verify that you really did lose administrator privilege...
Right-click on "Start". If "Open all users" is one of the displayed
options, then you have admin privilege.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode and logging in as Administrator?
Unless you have set a password, the default is no password.

Log in to the Administrator account, and reset your account as Admin level.

At the Welcome screen, press control+alt+delete twice to get the login
dialog, enter Administrator as the User ID and try blank as the password.
Or, restart in Safe Mode and choose Administrator from the welcome screen
there.

If you've been using the Administrator account as the user account, well,
this is one reason why you don't do that. If that's happened, you are
facing a clean install after backing up your data.
